A chance to tap into your inner world, or simply a place to sit down with others and find connection.

women circle

Here at Creatrix, we offer different types of groups. Coming together monthly online or coming together monthly face to face in women’s circles or mixed groups.

What is a women's circle?

The relatively simple practice of women coming together to sit and share is nothing new – circles have been taking place for thousands of years. At their simplest, women’s circles are where women sit together in a circle around a central altar (which can be anything from a candle to an intricate crystal grid). There are opportunities to talk and listen and be heard.

Notably, other women don’t offer advice or pass judgement. It’s not therapy, but a safe space to hear and be heard. The point isn’t to problem-solve and that can be a relief, especially if you are prone to overthinking about the right thing to say.

There’s no set way for women’s circles to run and the rituals of each are different. Some incorporate movement, songs, crafts, food, moon phases or pulling tarot cards. Women’s circles can be whatever you want them to be. A chance to tap into your inner feminine goddess if you wish to, or simply a place to sit down with other women and find sisterhood.

The online groups and run in a similar way to the circles, but are more sharing groups with people of mixed genders/beliefs/cultures and backgrounds. They will involve bringing how your month has been and listening to others share theirs story. There will be simple meditation techniques to arrive together. These groups are mostly about talking and listening. Some people can find circles overwhelming and feel safer online in their own space. There are also many that fear connecting and just need something simpler… to arrive and be seen.

Both groups and circles provide a space to freely express ourselves, a place to connect with others and find a sense of authentic community that is so often craved in our busy day-to-day lives. They are non-judgemental, safe and welcoming. Some people opt to attend both groups AND circles, this depends entirely on your own needs.

Whether you are seeking therapy and want to add in the benefit of joining a group, or if you are just seeking a monthly women’s circle…

What does an online group look like?

Having been through several different types of therapy since starting 10 years ago, my journey with Donna over the past year has been the most personal, intimate, affirming, life-changing and fulfilling. Donna has guided and challenged me gently and encouragingly from day one. Allowing me to discover and uncover by myself whilst consistently offering pathways of perspectives and introspection into understanding the layers of who I am. Words cannot describe the impact of my therapy journey with Donna!
